Creepy!

Weslie, you're right...my baby (13 weeks 4 days) IS creepy! Am I going to give birth to Benjamin Button??!!

Going to Work.

Lily went to work with Daddy today. Well at least for a couple hours which was very nice for Mama!

So cute!

Toy Box.

Good photo op today at the toy box!

In Style.

The girls modeling two very popular accessories. (I found Lily roaming the house with a purse and my shawl, she knew how to work it too!)

Lily demonstrates how versatile the pashmina is. Wear one at your neck.

Or as a head covering (for visits to the Wailing Wall or singing "Matchmaker" from the hit Broadway musical Fiddler on the Roof). BTW Phil if we're having another girl we may want to start thinking about dowries.

Or for breezy days it's nice to have a cozy shawl or even if it's not so breezy and you want to play "Tzeitel" from Fiddler on the Roof then you're set.

Clara is wearing leg warmers from Baby Legs. Now she can cruise in style without roughing up her soft mushy baby legs!

This shot is for her Daddy.

Announcing!

Baby #3 is on the way!
ETA: August 30, 2010
(Baby is 12 weeks and 5 days old, and yes, I already look 6 months pregnant)

At The Parsonage.

One of Lily's favorite games is called "Getting Dressed". She did well this day. With a little help she put on Clara's sweat pants, 3 shirts and one of Clara's onesies!

Clara's starting to crawl!

Out of the blue the other day Lily said my name! We managed to get her to say it again. Weird!

8 Months Old.

8 months old! Clara seems to learn new things everyday. She is starting to crawl on her hands and knees a little instead of her old standby army crawl, which is a good thing since her left arm is starting to chafe. She's also starting to pull up and stand at short things like stairs or step stools. And boy can she eat! And not just what she finds on my carpet (though that's still a favorite). Jarred baby food is getting old, she wants the real stuff now. It's so fun to have a child that will eat! She's really learning to hold her own against her big sister too. She's one tough cookie, she'll roll over, crawl over or eat anything in her path. Phil has renamed her "Clarian the Barbarian".

"Be not fooled by this silly bow, I eat bows for dinner!"

"And baby lambs! Fear my vicious toothies!"

The Lily Show.

Here's our silly Lily keeping us smiling. Hope these videos work. I've been having a lot of trouble with them lately. If you have trouble try moving the cursor over a little and hitting play again, sometimes that works.

Our little genius!

This is Lily's eye in case you missed that.

Our little Pollock!

She may say "eye" like a yankee but her "bye" is straight from Dixie!

Valentine's Day.

I celebrated Valentine's Day by putting a red bow in Lily's hair and that almost didn't happen. I had such a busy week getting ready for an open house we hosted on Saturday that by Sunday I was worn out and had no valentines to exchange or mail or even think about. I was too worried about Phil driving to his vacancy church that morning in "white out/blizzard conditions" and whether or not we would be getting to church that day to do anything for my sweeties. Oh well.

But I did make some cute cupcakes for our open house that I topped with cherries in honor of Valentine's Day. That counts right?

Our 18 Month Old.

A year and a half ago it was so hard to imagine what life would be like with a walking, talking baby. Holding our newborn baby Lily those days seemed so so far away. How quickly 18 months have passed and here we are with a raging case of TODDLER! Lily has mastered "no" and has added several words such as; "uh-oh", "there-is", "knock-knock", "nigh-nigh" and "cold". She's also very good at tattling on Clara who she affectionately has started to call "Ca-Ca" (sorry Clara). She's definitely "a handful" as they say of children this age, but she's such a sweet and funny little handful!
