Our second Christmas tree!

Well, we did it again. We located this year's tree just North of town in a ditch. The road was busy yesterday but only one passerby slowed to see just what we were up to. This one's a lot bigger than last year and a little less brown. Phil was proud very proud of it.

He even helped with the lights! Yes, we're risking lights this year.

Lily was confused the whole time. She did start to look at the tree with a little more acceptance today.

All done except for the topper. No topper yet. Hopefully I can get one soon. Maybe that's why Lily's still a bit wary of this intruder.

Snow and Santa!

Lots more snow for Bancroft. I hate to say it but it was actually really pretty this day. We had large flakes falling. And yes, I said "It looks like a snow globe!" again. But hey, it did.

We had to let Lily see (and taste behind my back)...thanks Daddy.

Last Saturday Santa came to town. We put Lily on his lap and Phil told him she wants a large screen TV for Christmas. I'm not sure how Lily felt about the whole experience, she didn't cry but made sure we weren't going anywhere.

Cloth Diapers!

We've decided to take on the challenges and benefits of cloth diapering our babies. We got our first round of "prefolds" last week. They're too small, but do the trick until we can get bigger ones. Lily doesn't seem to notice the change, probably because I've managed not to stick her with a pin yet. They're a little more work, but sooo cute!!

Daddy "feeding" Lily.

Decorating our sanctuary.

Every year the youth group is given the responsibility of decorating our church sanctuary for Christmas. Next year Phil and I will be in charge of this circus. I took pictures so I....or Phil will know what to do or what to tell the kids to do.

At least I'll have some eager hands to hold Lily while it's done!

Bath Time.

Lily is starting to enjoy taking baths.

Especially the sopping up the bath water in the bath towel part. Mmmm!

Baby #2 Coming Soon!

We'd like to announce that another adorable little person will be joining our family in June! We did such a good job the first time we thought we'd do it again. I'm in my 12th week already! I can't believe how quickly this pregnancy is going. I guess I'm a little busier this time.
We were able to hear our new baby's heartbeat on Wednesday. Lily was with us. She didn't look as excited as I was, but didn't cry, so that's a good sign.

More Lily News.

Lily has started to "eat" some cereal. Not much stays in her mouth so I guess it's not really eating. I should say, Lily has started to let us put cereal in her mouth so she can spit it out.

And she's learned how to spit, from her father of course. Try watching this without sticking your tongue out.
