17 Weeks

All is still going very with this pregnancy. I've had a lot of headaches this time though. I had one for a week and a half with a migraine thrown in there just for fun. Our doctor said it could be dehydration or fatigue, but I think I'm getting enough water and sleep, well "enough" sleep. I'm thinking it's just hormones. Could that mean this will be a boy??! We ARE going to find out hopefully. No surprises here. We'll go in for an ultrasound in about 3 more weeks. I can't wait!
And yes, I still look like I'm 6 months pregnant.

At The Parsonage

I couldn't help taking a few pictures Sunday after we were all ready for church the girls were so pretty and yes, quite coordinated.

Spring?

FINALLY! A couple "warm" days! We had to get outside Wednesday and Thursday. We actually got to the high 60s on Thursday! Woo Hoo!

Taking a walk.

Wearing shorts! Really I just had to try on some summer clothes to see what will fit Lily. I'm so excited to think that it's actually time to start getting out our Spring and Summer clothes. Not that we'll really be wearing them outside for a while, but who can wait?! Here Lily wears a 12 month top and shorts aka daisy dukes and a midriff.

We can get to our swing set now! The snow covered the bottom of the swings for so long I wondered if we'd get to use them this year.

And Clara saw grass again...she decided she does not like grass.

But all good things come to an end. We got more "nos" on Friday.

Lenten Reflection

For vainly doth our human wisdom ponder-
Thy woes, They mercy, still transcend our wonder.
Oh, how should I do aught that could delight Thee!
Can I requite Thee?

Yet unrequited, Lord, I would not leave Thee;
I will renounce whate'er doth vex or grieve Thee
And quench with thoughts of Thee and prayers most lowly
All fires unholy.

But since my strength will nevermore suffice me
To crucify desires that still entice me,
To all good deeds O let Thy Spirit win me
And reign within me!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Today we had fun with green!

Kiss her, she's Irish! It's hard to believe "this" was Lily just one year ago!

Then...

and now!
She's Irish too, but didn't want anything to do with getting kisses!

I also made cupcakes for our Jr. High Catechism class.

And here are 100 pictures of Lily eating one of them.

This is the girl who wouldn't touch the cupcake at her first birthday party!

Finger licking stamp of approval!

Yes, St. Patrick's Day is a great day to celebrate our heritage, wear green and maybe dance a jig but it's also a good day to remember to pray for our missionaries.

An excerpt from St. Patrick’s Breastplate

I invoke today all these virtues
Against every hostile merciless power
Which may assail my body and my soul,
Against the incantations of false prophets,
Against the black laws of heathenism,
Against the false laws of heresy,
Against the deceits of idolatry,
Against the spells of women, and smiths, and druids,
Against every knowledge that binds the soul of man.

Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me,
Christ in me, Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ on my right, Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down, Christ when I arise,
Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in every ear that hears me.

I arise today

Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity,
Through belief in the threeness,
Through confession of the oneness,
Of the Creator of Creation.

9 Months Old.

Clara is 9 months old today!

At The Parsonage

An Easter hat and shoes arrived last week for Lily from Grandmere. She loved them!

Lily's potty training is coming along very well. She's not having many accidents anymore and is starting to get a hang of pulling her own britches up and down!
