Auction.

We hit up another auction here in town last weekend and made out pretty good! We got another upright freezer (for beer!), a baby gate and a children's table and chair set!

Lily helped Nancy keep track of all the sales.

Here's one of the chairs. I thought I would remove this cover and recover them with something cuter, but to my surprise what was underneath was perfect!

I loved the green so will keep them the way they are!

This set was missing a chair but we got it for $7.50! It's pretty old and very well made. I was very excited about this find!

Friday night football.

Last friday we went to our high school football game to watch what turned out to be a pretty exciting game. Bancroft won by two points against the team that won state last year! Clara had fun but had more important things to watch.

And Lily had popcorn that needed to be eaten, her first time eating it and she loves it!

It got really chilly after the sun went down, we were glad we dressed warm!

Mama's little helper.

I was folding and putting away laundry the other day and heard a little sigh. I looked over and saw Lily trying to fold part of her diaper. It was so sweet and made me realize just how much this little person watches and learns everything she sees me doing! It's an honor and huge responsibility to know that. She's even got my sigh down, yikes!

Fall.

Fall is officially here and it sure is lovely. We're getting cool days, cold nights and beautiful colors. The girls and I had to get out of the house this week. We spent some time at the Neihardt Center playing with rocks and one of us got a nice snooze.
